Meet The Designer

HI, I'm Anna - the heart, hands and creative spirit behind Dreambug Designs.

Dreambug Designs breathes new life into previously owned and no longer wanted clothing. I draw inspiration from music, art, nature, animals, mountain living, psychedelic healing, and the boundless desire for living a life that’s completely free. Every piece is designed and stitched with love and intention and woven together with a little extra sparkle, fun and playful flair.

Born during a time of personal struggle, Dreambug began as a creative lifeline. The name Dreambug came from the idea of dreaming big- a reminder to follow the spark of possibility.

Through fabric, and a love and passion for clothing and thrifting, I found healing, purpose and transformation. My hope is that when you wear a Dreambug piece, it uplifts your spirit and brings you the light, joy, love, freedom, confidence, and just a little bit of rebellion that I infuse into every piece.

About the fabrics

I thoughtfully upcycle my base garments from thrift stores, Poshmark, Depop, and generous hand-me-downs. The fabrics I use are curated from a variety of resources, from carefully selected and loved designs to luxury interior designers who I rescue fabric samples from.

Many of the patches I incorporate are sourced from fellow creatives in the music-inspired maker community. I feel passionate about supporting other artists and am inspired by the magic their designs bring to my pieces.

Sustainability is a continuous journey and as such I will continue to evolve my creativity and resources in alignment.

Every pre-loved piece is sourced with intention from all over, and is then re-designed at the studio located in Vail, Colorado.
